Mae Haeuser, 77, of Williston, died at Mercy Medical Center in Williston, due to injuries sustained in an automobile on Monday morning, December 10, 2012.

Leah Mae Shepherd was born December 11, 1934, in Jacksonville, FL to Dalton and Dorothy (Tappin) Shepherd. She was raised and educated in western North Dakota.

Mae was first married to Jack Larmer in July of 1951 in Sidney, MT. Jack Passed away in May of 1975.

On November 20, 1976 Mae was united in marriage to Nathan Haeuser in Williston.

Mae was a full-time housewife and mother. In the last twenty years she dedicated herself full-time as a Christian minister. She was a member of the Williston congregation of Jehovah’s Witnessess.

Her greatest interest and joy was sharing her Bible knowledge of hope for a better future here on earth.

Mae is survived by her husband, Nate Haeuser of Williston; her mother, Dorothy Morrow of the Bethel Lutheran Home of Williston; her sons, Wade (Brenda) Larmer of Williston, Jeff (Rhonda) Larmer of Gillette, WY, and James Larmer of Colorado; two daughters, Jackie (Tom) Heinle of White Earth, ND and Debbie (Dale) Morris of Crete, ND; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Nelson of Williston; her stepchildren, Dean (Becky) Haeuser of Grand Forks, ND, Robin (John) Macarthy of California, Laurie (Paul) Olds of Oregon, and Renee Owl of Yuma, AZ.

Preceding her in death was her father, Dalton Shepherd.

The Everson Funeral Home of Williston is caring for the family.

Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Jehovah’s Witness’s Kingdom Hall in Williston. Lonnie Stone will officiate.

Friends may call at the Everson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM and for the hour preceding the service at the church on Friday.

Cremation has taken place.
