Seth Coughlin

Owner / Funeral Director

Seth Coughlin was born and raised in Williston, ND. His parents are Gail (Bakken), and the late Thomas Coughlin. He graduated from Williston High School in 1994. He enlisted in the United States Army while a Senior in High School and served as a combat medic before being commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Reserve in 2004.

 

Seth attended College in Grand Forks ND for three years before transferring to the Mortuary Science Program at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Upon graduation, Seth returned to Williston to serve his Apprenticeship under George Everson. While serving his Apprenticeship, he met and married Heidi Brevik. The two established their home in Williston where they are raising their three beautiful children, Reagan, Lucy and Jack. Seth is very active in the community.

 

He has been involved with several organizations including; Serving as Past President of the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association, President of the Williston Boy’s Baseball Committee, Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge, Past Chamber of Commerce Board Member. He is actively involved with the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and former Chef De Gare of the 40 ET 8. He is also a life member of Funeral Service Professionals.

Seth and Heidi are active members of the Saint Joseph's Parish, Williston, ND.

Heidi Coughlin

Heidi (Brevik) Coughlin was born and raised in Williston. Her parents, David and Mary Lynn (Quarne) Brevik are from the Grenora / Zahl communities. Heidi graduated from Williston High School in 1995. Following graduation Heidi traveled in the youth service organization “Up With People!” After traveling with the group, she moved to California and attended the Gemological Institute of America. She is a Graduate Gemologist, has a certificate in Jewelry Design and Jewelry Appraisal. Heidi and Seth have 3 children: Reagan, Lucy and Jack. Heidi is active in the Williston community and enjoys attending all of her children’s activities.

Heidi and her family are members of Saint Joseph’s Parish, Williston, ND.



Holly Austreim

Holly was raised in Crosby and Williston, and graduated in 1976.  She served our community at Bethel Nursing Home and The Arbor House for many years as a hairdresser.  Holly continues to serve families at Everson Coughlin Funeral Home.  She is married to Chad Austreim, and together, they have 5 children and 7 grandchildren.  Holly enjoys attending the grandkids sporting events, and camping.  Holly is a member of Life Church in Williston.

Maureen Laqua

Maureen was born and raised in Williston ND. She graduated from Williston High School in 1965. She attended one year of college in Williston, then spent a year traveling in Europe. She worked with the Williston School system for 29 years. Maureen has worked at the Funeral Home since 1998. She and her husband Larry enjoy fishing and traveling. Their son Ryan and Jackie Laqua have 3 daughters; Paige, Kirsten, and Ella. Maureen is on the Bethel Foundation Board, and attends Our Redeemers Lutheran Church.



Mark Wrolson

Mark was born and raised in Williston, North Dakota, and is a 1971 Williston High School Graduate.  Mark and his wife, Laurie have four children, and six grandchildren.  They are active members of St. Joe’s Catholic Church.  Mark is a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mark made life-long friends in the community as a UPS driver for 37 years.  He enjoys fishing and pheasant hunting in the North Dakota outdoors with his dog, Dakota.  Long walks in the prairie landscape and taking photos is also a hobby he enjoys.  Mark is also a die hard Boston Celtics fan!

Mark stays active in the Williston Community and is a volunteer for the Mon-Dak Humane Society.  He mows lawns at the humane society in the summer and likes to check in on all of the animals in need.  

Malloree Falcon

Malloree Falcon was born in Williston, North Dakota, and was the 2022 Salutatorian of her class at Trenton High School. She is the daughter to Terry and Lisa Falcon, of Trenton, ND. Following graduation, Malloree began the chase for her dreams by joining our team. Malloree is a 2024 graduate of Williston State College, where she earned her Associates in Applied Science and an Associates of Arts degree. She is transferring to the Mortuary Science Program at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in the Fall of 2024.

Malloree is currently doing half of her apprenticeship under Seth Coughlin before her move to Ohio. She will then finish out her other half of apprenticeship when she returns from school!

Malloree enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and four fur-babies (Ox, Otis, Annie, and Frannie). She also enjoys movies, puzzles, sports, and traveling. Malloree is eager to learn every aspect of the Funeral industry and one day own her own Funeral Home!

David Grew up in Williston and is married to Mary Lynn Brevik. David enjoys working on projects at First Lutheran Church and playing with his four grandchildren.

David and Mary Lynn are members of First Lutheran Church in Williston.
